Experimenting with substrates at Escola Les Vinyes

With the visit of the 3rd and 4th grade students at ICTA-UAB, we have started the first experiment in the school's veggie garden. Using the scientific method, the growth of a seasonal crop such as peas is compared using different cultivation substrates, from compost to perlite. The students record the entire growth process and we share the results.

Scientific knowledge is not useful knowledge until we bring it closer to society. And who better than children to put our research into practice? This school year 2022-23, Escola La Pau in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia has initiated an alliance with ICTA-UAB in the framework of the Magnet program of the Bofill Foundation.
