Escola Les Vinyes (January 13, 2025)

We are very excited to welcome the Egyptian class (3rd and 4th grade) from Escola Les Vinyes de Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues! During the visit, the students were able to learn how to make compost and we started a scientific experiment on substrates that they brought to school. We received many questions and we learned a lot from everyone!

Escola Ramon Fuster (May 9, 2024)

Escola Ramon Fuster from Bellaterra has visited us for the second time! All 3rd grade students were able to learn about our research on resource recovery in buildings and conducted experiments on CO2 and plants. They could visit our urban agricultural labs!

Mad for Sustainability Program by Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation (January 27, 2024)

Every Saturday we go Mad for Sustainability! Today we talked about Sostenipra’s research and sustainable food. How exciting it is to hear such elaborate questions and comments from high school students!

Escola Bellaterra (November 24, 2023)

We welcomed 1st and 2nd graders from Escola Bellaterra who participated in the Citizen Arenas project on raising awareness about the use of water, led by our colleague Cristina Madrid. They have measured how much water they use and have proposed water-saving measures. They were able to visit the different corners of the building with the LIVEN lab team!

CROMA program schools (May 30, 2023)

The students of the CROMA program from the Floresta, Serraparera, Miquel Carreras and Montessori schools have presented at ICTA-UAB the project they have done at their schools to reduce pollution in their environment. They were also able to visit our building and do experiments with our research team. The program is coordinated by Fundació Autònoma Solidària.
