Researcher Susana Toboso Chavero has presented the preliminary results of the study on the use of rooftops made in Cerdanyola del Vallès. This is part of the project “Municipalities resilient to pandemics through the link of local agriculture, energy, water and waste. From the pilot to the municipality” within the framework of the project “Pandèmies”. Rooftops are spaces where we could implement different systems such as solar modules, agriculture, greenhouses and rainwater harvesting in order to achieve greater sustainability. A total of 1100 people answered a survey to gather their preferences of use for the rooftops. The results show that 76% prefer the installation of photovoltaic energy, 42% would like a rainwater harvesting system and 25% rooftop agriculture.
